How to Collect and Store Salvia Seeds

- Salvia Seeds
Early in the Fall, Salvia seeds were collected —to be stored over winter and then planted in the Spring.
The two colors that return from seed each year are the Salmon-colored and the Red flowering plants. Gently crushing the small seed pods between a thumb and forefinger release the tiny black seeds. Store the seeds in a paper envelope, in a cool, dry location until Spring.
